The countdown is now down to three days.... Where has the time gone?!?! We're getting pretty anxious about the arrival of little Ellie, but as each day passes I think I'm getting a little more nervous about the surgery. Something about being awake during a surgery just scares the crap out of me. They say there are more risks when you're out during a surgery, which I've been there and done that one once. I was at the Dr yesterday and she ran through all of the risks of the C-section, and of course some of them are tiny risks but make the situation even all that more scary! Last Friday I decided to start my leave from work early. I've been experiencing too much pressure and have been way to uncomfortable that I just couldn't stand at work when we would get busy. I plan on returning back to work towards the end of September after spending a few months at home with both kids. Caeden will still go to daycare in the mornings but in the afternoons I'll have both kiddos to myself :) Not sure if I should be excited or scared about this one yet ;) haha
Saturday night Sioux Falls and the surrounding area got hit by a pretty good size rain storm complete with flash flooding and lots of lightening and thunder. As a result of this storm we lost our Direct TV and they won't be out to fix it until Thursday!!! On top of this we needed to take our lap top in to have it looked at so it's kind of boring around here! I'm hoping I can survive the next few days without it! I've got lots of little things I can do to keep me busy though. I just finished up another wedding yesterday. They'll be picking up the flowers tomorrow, so that's kind of a big weight off of my shoulders. Today I think I'll bake some banana bread and throw it in the freezer for after Little Miss Ellie arrives. Our basement is well stocked with extra food and drink so hopefully we won't have to make as many trips to the store. I don't know how I'll handle that one with two kids....Could get interesting.
We'll keep everyone posted as to the excitement that shall be here on Friday! Hope all is well with everyone and we look forward to introducing our daughter to the world Friday afternoon :)

12 days and Counting!
Sara's C-section has been moved to July 2nd at 11:30 A.M. So little Ellie will have her birthday right between Great Grandpa Reiter's birthday and Uncle Mike's birthday! We're getting very anxious for her birthday to get here, we can't wait to see if she's going to look like her big brother or not. Sara's still pretty nervous about the surgery but anxious none the less.
We took Caeden to pick out a couple of fish today. Daddy has been wanting to get fish for awhile and has been asking Caeden if he wanted some too, and of course not knowing any better Caeden said yes. So Kyle promised him he could get some fish. So today we brought home to fan tail gold fish, a black one named Buzz, and a Calico one named Woody. Caeden seems to enjoy them so far, we're hoping we won't one day find them flopping on the floor because Caeden let them out of the fish tank haha.
We've been pretty busy the last few months. Sara and Glenda have been busy with weddings, one of them being Megan, Kyle's cousins. It turned out gorgeous. They have two more weddings coming up in July, two in August and one scheduled for September as well, so Sara will be pretty busy during her maternity leave. Kyle has been busy mowing 3 lawns this year, ours, his parents, and the neighbor across the street from his parents house. When he's not mowing he's busy doing pretty much all of the housework. He's the best! Caeden is busy being well, Caeden, our little monkey! It's hard to believe that he'll be 2 already on July 15th!!! We'll be celebrating his birthday with a monkey themed party on July 24th. Mommy has been busy buying all of the necessary party stuff so we can be prepared because I doubt we'll have much time once the baby arrives. Life will definitely get even more interesting in a few weeks :)

Wow, it's been too long!
Life has been so busy that we've forgotten to update the blog for a VERY long time. A lot has happened since October! We've found out we're having another baby (a little girl, we can't be more excited!) sold our house in Harrisburg, moved to Sioux Falls (in with Sara's parents), bought a new house, moved out of Sara's parents and in to our new house and now Sara's really busy with wedding season and the business, along with getting ready for the new baby! Life has been crazy but it's been full of many blessings.
Recently Sara lost her Uncle Joel to pancreatic cancer. He fought his battle with cancer for only a few short months, but is now in a better place and no longer suffering. Two weeks ago we found out that Kyle's Grandma Anna is now fighting the same battle, pancreatic cancer. This shocking news is still trying to settle in with everyone. We're just trying to cherish every moment we've got at this point and just keep on praying for her.
Next week Sara goes in for another ultra sound/doctors appointment to see how things are going with Little Baby "C II". It's been somewhat of a difficult pregnancy, apparently nothing is supposed to be normal or go as planned for us. We just hope that she gets here safely. The C-section is currently scheduled for Monday, July 5, 2010. We have to be at the hospital at 5:30 in the morning with the surgery scheduled to start around 7:30 or so. Sara's pretty scared, but is very anxious to meet the little girl that we've been waiting all these months for.
Caeden is keeping Mommy and Daddy on their toes these days. He's a VERY busy little boy that enjoys doing dishes, dusting, sweeping and scrubbing the floors!! Mommy and Daddy can only hope that his love for cleaning sticks with him for years to come! Caeden started daycare again about a month ago with Dee, a lady that Mommy used to work with at the bank. The first few weeks were rough, but he seems to be adjusting well and enjoying it there. There is a one month old little baby girl there and he seems to be pretty interested in her lately. Which is probably a good thing since he'll have a little baby sister in his house in less that two months!!
Kyle has been pretty busy doing things around the new house. Kyle's Dad, Sara's Dad, and Kyle have been helping with the landscaping at the new house. Kyle's parents decided to pull a lot of stuff out of their garden at their house so a lot of it came to our house, which is great because it made the house feel lived in. Last week we went out and bought a tree, but with this rainy crappy weather, we have yet to get it in the ground! Between doing house stuff, work and mowing the lawn for his parents and their neighbor, Kyle's been pretty busy. He manages to fit in a computer game once in awhile.
Sara has been pretty busy with the business this spring. She and Glenda have a bunch of weddings lined up for May through September. We're just hoping there is enough time to get it all done!! She stays pretty busy with that and Caeden in the afternoons. She's really looking forward to having a few months off when the baby is born, it's time for a break from work!
That's our Consoer family update in a nutshell. Hope everyone else is doing well!

October

Wow it's been awhile since we updated this. Caeden now has 7 teeth, 3 on top and 4 on bottom. Mommy thinks the other top one is working it's way though though. Last night Mommy, Daddy, and Auntie Lindsey took Caeden to the Zoo Boo. Caeder dressed up as a Monkey. We had to get the monkey costume because of his nickname. Caeden LOVED the Zoo. There was so many things and people to look at. We think his favorite thing to watch was th Emu run back and forth. He also liked looking at all of the carved pumpkins. He kept pointing at them and going eh eh! Last weekend Caeder got to paint his pumpkins for Halloween. Mommy made an Elmo pumpkin and Caeden painted a colorful design on his little pumpkin. Auntie Lindsey and Grandma Lynnette are working on a monkey pumpkin for him. Caeden has learned lots of new stuff in the past few weeks when he's at home with Grandma Glenda. He now knows what a cow says, what a lion says, where his hair, eyes, ears, nose and toes are. He also counted to two a few days ago. Our little baby is growing up too fast!

FINALLY!!!! A top tooth!

Caeden FINALLY cut a top tooth over night! We've been waiting for those "Bucky Beavers", as Grandma Lynnette calls them, to come in. He's got a mouth full of bumps on his gums and it's about time one of those silly teeth popped through! He's got two more teeth on top that are really close to cutting and one more on the bottom. He now has four teeth! He's pretty slow when it comes to getting teeth, but they say the longer they take to come in the healthier they are! Besides cutting teeth Caeden has been busy showing us where his belly button is as well as his fingers and his toes! Today our smart little baby put a peg shape puzzle together for the first time! We clapped and yelled yay for him so he clapped and yelled yay too! That's one of his new things as well. He loves to yell yay when people clap. He started doing that last weekend at Auntie Lindsey's soccer game. He'd clap after everyone else clapped then he'd turn to Grandpa Jeff and give him a hug. It was so cute. Once again Caeden made out with a haul in Omaha when we went shopping before Linds's game. We might be going back to Omaha next weekend too with Caeden's Grandpa Jim and Grandma Glenda. He's great in the car for trips, he can be fussy in the stores but it's nothing a few marshmallows and suckers can't fix!!! That little boy keeps Mommy and Daddy on their toes, but it's SO MUCH FUN!!! He's grown up to be such a little person lately. We often find ourselves staring at him, wondering where the time went.
We've now had our house on the market for about a month. Today will be our second open house. Hopefully there is a good turn out. We can't wait to get out of Harrisburg. We're hoping to build a new house on the east side of Sioux Falls if everything works out!

Another month has come and gone!
It's hard to believe it's September already and even harder to believe that Caeder is going to be 14 months old in just a couple of weeks!!! Caeden has learned new tricks in the past month, not only is he walking all over the place but he's also opening doors, feeding himself with a spoon, going down the slide all by himself, and showing us his belly button. Last night he and Daddy were playing on the floor and Caeden figured out that Daddy has a belly button too!!! It was way too cute! He has developed such a personality in the last month and is just way too much fun to be around!

He's WALKING!!!!!!
On Monday night Caeden decided to take AT LEAST 15 steps, walking from the middle of the living room to the middle of the kitchen!!! Mommy and Daddy were so excited they were clapping and cheering him on! After that he started taking a lot more steps and was no longer holding on to the furniture while he did. Since Monday night he's been walking quite a bit. It's so cute! Grandma Lynnette says he looks like a little orangutan. :) Tonight he even started to whistle!!!! He's growing up way too fast!!!
